CRYOPAK PHASE 22 PACK
- For use in moderate temperatures
- Maintains ~72 degrees Fahrenheit surface temperature
These shipping packs are a unique phase changing hot/cold pack for shipping your reptiles or amphibians. They are designed to automatically change from a cold pack to a hot pack based on the external temperature. As temperatures decrease below 72 degrees F. the chemical reaction inside the pack begins to give off heat, and as temperatures rise above 72 degrees the packs become cool.
The temperature controlling capabilities of these packs are subtle compared to traditional hot or cold packs. We recommend their use only when external temperatures are relatively mild. In moderate conditions, these packs help create a stable shipping temperature. These should be used in the smallest box possible and with a minimum of 2 packs per box.
If you expect shipping temperatures to be extra cold you should instead use a Heat Pack. If you expect shipping temperatures to be extra hot you should use an Ice Pack. The Cryopak Phase 22 packs are for stabilizing in moderate temperatures.
